I have had a Navigator NV22 since they first came out. I have a German Shepherd and a Black Lab. Live in the country with a rock and dirt driveway. I vacuum usually everyday. I also vacuum my wrap around covered deck and my concrete carport, also two outside dog houses. My vacuum tipped over (2 yr ago) and the tab that holds the dust canister in place broke off, it is now held on with a bungee cord, I still use it everyday. Have thought about buying another but just never got around to it. Great Buy over that ”expensive” brand Best company and best products ever! I have owned the origional shark vacuum for 6 years. If I ever have had a problem with the vacuum I just call the 1-800 number and they have replaced the parts for FREE! That includes the shipping for free as well! They gave me the option to buy a new one at a discounted price when I called with a problem. So I got a new one at 1/2 the cost AND they replaced the parts free on my older model!! So I have one upstairs and one downstairs.

This vacuum is great at getting up pet hair. I am really fastidious about keeping the filters and little cones in the cyclonic chamber clean. Pro Carpet cleaner here of 8 years. i recommended this vac to every one of my clients. The brush beats down very well agitating and loosening soil while the impressive suction picks it up. even when the container is full the suction works solid . I LOVE THIS MODEL! It’s so easy to clean; so easy to use. What I love about it, everything is labeled on the vacuum itself. So if you can’t remember which button is on with the roller- Bam! It’s on the vacuum. Can’t recall where the manual is to find out how to clean; it’s on the vacuum; There’s a light that shows if the roller is on. It does the job and more.
